Once I lost the weight and I started at 40, it was no turning back. My depression and mood got 60% better.     I remember when I started losing weight my motive was originally to get girls and be more attractive and then I surpassed my own expectations after I got into lifting and now I just focus on competing and my own goals instead of girls. Ironically the time when I pull the most girls I decide to focus on myself and be single unless I truly met the right girl.
